Grade 4 - 6 Grade 7 - 9 Principal, Acting Principal, Deputy Principal, Acting Deputy Principal, Departmental Head, Acting Departmental Head, Teacher, Novice Teacher
Applicants must teach in:
Intermediate Phase (Grades 4-6)
About this Course

This 10-day face-to-face course will focus on the following reading strategies:

Schema theory and the reading salad

Comprehension

Prediction

Inferencing

Close reading

Shared reading

and a few more. 

In this course you will be taught the skills, methodology and assessment strategies to assist your learners in Reading.

Note: As this is a face-to-face course, you will need to source a subsitute for the 10-days, that the CTLI will pay. Contact me if you need help in getting a substitute.
